One of the largest forum celebrating advances of the skin, global community and friendship, mentorship and growth, and the synergy of dermatology and industry partnerships.

The highlight of the meeting for Dr. Li was returning to co-chair a scientific session on microneedling, with internationally-renowned faculty and friends who shared rich clinical experiences. Thank you to all and your time was evidently valued by a remarkable audience turnout for a Sunday morning session, beating daylight savings time change!

We look forward to integrating new learnings and insights back home for our patients.

This past weekend, Dr. Li welcomed back her mentee Aliyah King of the University of Ottawa, who presented their published work at the University of British Columbia Skin Research Day.

Aliyah was mentored by Dr. Li last summer through a Skin of Color Observership, and was the first Canadian pair selected amongst colleagues from Harvard, Weill Cornell, and Johns Hopkins medicine.

Dr. Li was asked by CityNews Vancouver to comment on the consequences of misinformation online, particularly in the realm of skin health and skincare, and how the public can navigate this.
